Highland Studios, located in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains, features a complete suite of rooms. Chips Davis designed our large state-of- the-art control room and spacious live studio with adjustable acoustics, built specifically for acoustic instruments and voices.

Highland Studios offers digital multi-track recording using the latest Avid Pro Tools HD, digital editing of audio and video, and mastering and preparation of duplication masters for CD, DVD or download.

JOE WEED

Joe Weed works with a wide range of artists -- singer-songwriters, 25-piece folk orchestras, a cappella vocal ensembles, bands and solo artists. Joe has produced sound tracks for movies and TV, and his work has been featured on national television, in Ken Burns' documentaries, The Lincoln Museum, The National Steinbeck Center, Arlington National Cemetery, Martin Guitar Company films, and many more projects.

He welcomes collaboration with new people whether at his own Highland Studios or at your location.
